Additional Notes
In order to graduate, a student must take a course with 240 ECTS credits. In the curriculum of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, elective courses with 40 ECTS credits are anticipated. The students of the department should take elective courses that would provide 240 ECTS credits. Otherwise, they will be considered as they have not fulfilled the requirements for graduation. 

Important Explanation about Elective Courses

There are 10 elective courses in the curriculum of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. 6 of these electives must be taken from the department, 4 of them must be taken from outside of the department.
ELEC 1-3-5-7-8-9 elective courses are the departmental elective courses. ELEC 2-4-6-10 elective courses are from outside of the department. 

The table below has been prepared as a suggestion to direct the students of the department to a field of intellectual study that they are interested in. Accordingly, 3 elective course groups are defined.
1. Digital / Technical Specialization
2. Field Specialization
3. Socio - Cultural Specialization

The table below lists the departmental elective courses offered for each of the 3 specializations and the list of FFAD other departments' elective courses.
In addition to the courses offered within the specialization category of the student's choice, the student can also choose the elective courses of other departments of FFAD, provided that they are also from the same category.

Likewise, you can see the appropriate elective courses offered by other departments of our university under this table for each category. These courses are also grouped under the area of specialization.
