Course Objectives This course aims to present an environmentally (social and built) conscious and userfriendly approach to especially advanced years.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Student will be able to analyze the built and natural environments.
  • Student will be able to identify the significance of research in the field of design.
  • Student will be able to use trustworthy resources.
  • Student will be able to design a research study in the Environmental Psychology field.
  • Student will be able to evaluate how the findings of the research study could be applied in design.be able to evaluate how the findings of the research study could be applied in design
  • Student will be able to use theoretical fundamentals, research-based fundamentals and application fundamentals of Environmental Psychology
Course Description This course examines the transactions between people and their everyday social and physical environments. Topics include environmental perception and cognition, environmental stressors such as noise, spatial behavior such as personal space and territoriality, physical settings where we live, work, and learn, in addition to designing for more user-centered and fitting environments.
