Course Objectives The general objective of the semester course is to strengthen the knowledge and sensitivity towards an ecological and sustainable design.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students will be able to recognize ecological and bioclimatic design concept and attitudes
  • Students will be able to develop sensitivity towards an need of ecological behavior in our society
  • Students will be able to propose ecological solutions for in interior design projects
  • Students will be able to identify research opportunities in this field
  • Students will be able to evaluate an ecological and bioclimatic design project
Course Description The course analyses, discusses and researches the eco system, ecological construction methods, bioclimatic design, environmental problems and pollution including air pollution, water pollution, solid wastes and noise pollution. Additionally, the course guides towards an investigation of ecological principles in human relationships, and the interaction with the environment.
