IUE’s pride of the 'year'
Asst. Prof. Dr. İpek Kaştaş Uzun, faculty member of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, was awarded the Scientist of the Year Award in the field of landscape architecture by the Nobel Science and Research Center Association. Asst. Prof. Dr. Uzun, who works as an editor in international scientific journals and makes a difference with her research and projects, is very proud to bring the award to Izmir. Being unanimously awarded by the association, Asst. Prof. Uzun, said, “I will continue my work with the aim of leading creative projects in the field of landscape architecture and achieving scientifically respected Works.”
Giving awards to successful people, organizations and works in the scientific field since 2016, the Nobel Science and Research Center Association has carried out its evaluations meticilously for 2023. Many valuable scientist that could receive awards across Turkey were examined. Asst. Prof. Dr. İpek Kaştaş Uzun, faculty member of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, received the Scientist of the Year Award for her successful and devoted work in the field of landscape architecture.
INNOVATIVE AND CREATIVE PROJECTS
Stating that she will continue her innovative and creative projects without slowing down, Asst. Prof. Dr. İpek Kaştaş Uzun said, “My biggest goal is to contribute to the development in the field of landscape architecture with my work and to touch their lives by transferring my current knowledge and experience to students. I am very happy to see that my work in line with this goal has been recognized and valued. I would like to thank everyone who chose me for this award.”
