Course Objectives The general objective of the onesemester course is that the student starts to combine all the theoretical and practical knowledge they have reached up to now for their future profession. At the same time they are asked to create out of it their own design ideologies and possible representation. In that sense, the course tries to start to shape the first thoughts of an identity that maybe very useful in your future business and daily life. Additionally, the course tries to analyze and integrate contemporary and upcoming global perspective, investigate and research possible trends as well as to conceptualize and design a visionary and futuristic environment.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students will be able to define a possible conceptual approach to a project;
  • Students will be able to apply a complex conceptual design idea to a project;
  • Students will be able to apply their material and technology related research skills;
  • Students will be able to identify project related social and environmental problems;
  • Students will be able to propose visionary and future related design solutions;
  • Students will be able to apply their professional presentation skills
Course Description In this course the students will define their first possible conceptual design ideology and identity. Afterwards, they will represent these findings in an interior architecture and environmental design project of their choice. These thoughts and presented ideas will be used as a base for your IA 498 Graduation Project.
