Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental DesignThe guest of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department: Kütahya Ceramics
Kütahya Ceramics visited the second year students of Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Izmir University of Economics (IUE).
Kürşad Erdem, Kenan Erzincan, and Murat Yıldırım from Kütahya Ceramics gave an informative seminar. The material samples that they have donated to the faculty can be consulted at FFAD Material Library. The students have learned important information regarding ceramic floor surfaces, their characteristics, application techniques, manufacturing process, and certifications of the products.
The activity was part of Construction and Materials II course program. The IAED204 team is coordinated by lecturer Silvia Rolla and includes lecturers: Başak Zeynep Edes, Mahmut Haluk Tatari, and Selin Anal.
